Student Placements for Entrepreneurs in EDucation (SPEED) was a HEIF funded project being led by Wolverhampton University with many other Universities across the country taking part. The aim of the project is to provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to start up their own businesses.  Each of the thirteen partners has a specific package of measures in place to see individuals through from business idea/concept to fully functioning companies.

Are you interested in learning more about the products and services our SPEED students can offer you/your business? If so, click on the 'Fellows Directory' link in the left navigation pane to see the wide variety of products and services on offer at very reasonable rates.

Are you a student who is interested in joining the SPEED scheme?
The aim of this project is to provide support and resources to you, as a student at one of our partner Universities, to develop and roll-out your business ideas/skills.  You can do this either as your degree ‘placement’ or as a part time scheme along side your degree course. The programme would be an integral part of your University experience and parallel the traditional opportunities which exist with external work-based placements.

Our aim is to encourage enterprise and to provide business skills and knowledge whilst you are still within the more supportive environment of your University.

For further details and application details contact your nearest SPEED organisation (see the: 'University Locations' section of this site).
