Big Tree Project is helping people from all over the world research and build their family tree. The project, currently over 18 months old has since joining The Speed project has changed its direction and now aims to become more commercial.

The project is a web based service offering an easy to use research service to its members from all walks of life, including less technical backgrounds.

Members of the public, including University students are being encouraged to register on line and add their family tree

The service may be particularly useful to students or researchers studying history, genealogy or anybody with an interest in researching the history of their family and knowing more about where they come from.
