Members of the public, including University students are being encouraged to register on line and add their family tree
The service may be particularly useful to students or researchers studying history, genealogy or anybody with an interest in researching the history of their family and knowing more about where they come from.
The overall goal of the project is to produce the worlds largest family tree by connecting the smaller family trees of individuals.
