What the SPEED scheme at Staffordshire University offers:

A 12 month placement on SPEED with the following benefits for each individual:

• £1500 bursary
• One years FREE business accomodation at the University Business Village of your choice (including "The Creative Village")
• FREE Use of meeting room facilities
• FREE business training and development seminars
• Networking opportunities and benefits
• A chance to win the entrepreneur of the year competition
• FREE 1:1 mentoring support 

To access this fabulous package, you need:

• to be a INDIVIDUAL or TEAMS OF UP TO 3 people with:
• An exciting business idea
• Dedication, creativity and ambition
• The desire to utilise your placement year to test the commercial viability of your business idea or the desire to run a business alongside your studies.
• A desire to run a thriving business
• The scheme is only open to EU residents
• The scheme can be undertaken on a full or part time basis.  If you undertake SPEED as the placement year of your course then you must do this on a full time basis, 37.5 hours per week for 48 weeks.
